Some Festive Make Up Looks This Season
The festive season is here with back to back celebrations which means its time to engage in your most fancy ethnic wear and play dress up.
The spectrum of colors in Indian wear covers the brightest and happiest shades of red, orange, fuchsia pink, green, blue (and many more) with customary inclusion of either gold or silver.
Naturally there has to be makeup to compliment outfits with color tones as rich as these.
So lets take some cues from Bollywood and see whats going on in the world of makeup.
1. Go Natural
For women who do not fancy makeup or simply find it too much of a task to splash on any of it, "the nude look" is for you. Just a basic eyeliner - kajal routine for the eyes teamed with your favourite lipstick or lipgloss is enough to finish your look. If "Less is More", the mantra, then this is as minimum as it gets.
2. The Smoky Eye Look
'Smoky eye' has the fabulous quality of doing justice to Indian wear as much as it does to western land party wear. If one wishes to look sexy in an ethnic garb, then just smudge some black on the upper eyelids of the eye and keep the lip colour muted so as to not go over board.
3. Bright Lipsticks
Lipsticks are known to be great mood lifters on otherwise dull days so when there is a festive occasion, there's every reason to bring out all the shades our hearts fancy.
4. The Classic Shimmery Eyes and Colourful Lips
Some shimmer on the eyes (in gold or silver) accompanied with some visible & matching colour on the lips is one of the most popular makeup looks to go for. Its simple, conventional and always contemporary.
5. Color on the Eyes
If you are a little experimental with makeup then indulge in some bold colour on the eyes. If your outfit happens to be slightly simple then dramatic eye makeup is the perfect way of looking dressy
Let us know what do you think :)
Take care, have fun and stay safe
