Making Everyday Look Good With Westside.
Having fun with your wardrobe as you style yourself with trendy ensembles and sun kissed accessories is a must during the fabulous summer times.I love dressing up in cool and casual styles in a laidback fuss free way that accentuates my summer mood. I ditch the layers and heavy outfits for some stylish & preppy- slip dresses, ruffled skirts, mini dresses in bold prints, shorts and glam them up with accessories in bright shades. The emphasis is on staying edgy yet comfortable.
I do love denims but find it hard to wear the heavy fabric during the sweltering summer days. So I opt for Jeggings- a fashion trend that is controversial yet hard to ignore.
Women across the globe have either defended the versatility of jeggings or shunned their existence.
Styled well, Jeggings are pretty versatile and allow a woman to show off her curves without the "pinching" effect of tightly fitted denims. In fact women who find it difficult to find jeans that fit them well on the waist as well as thighs love the fitting of Jeggings. Simply put, Jeggings are a hybrid between "jeans" and "leggings" with fake pockets & accents like zips and buttons. They can be made from denim or spandex and come in various hues & prints. One can achieve different look with jeggings if styled rightly and enjoy comfort at its best.
One day when I stepped into the Westside store to check the Spring Summer 2016 collection, I loved quiet a few pieces and decided to put a look together. I wanted to sport a cool, preppy & edgy look and I chose a black pair of Jeggings with accents and paired them with a short front long back top in an easy grey color.
A beaded necklace and a pair of sexy black stilettos were perfect for a trendy summer look.
Pair the look with a stand our graphic print bag or a boat shaped bag or just keep your hands free to play with your curls.
A touch of base from Colorbar, MAC blush in bronze, Yves Saint Lauren powder gold eye-shadow and few strokes of red lakme lipstick and I was ready to step out to have some fun.
Just tease your hair to form soft curls and take a stylish step forward.
One can style this look with ballet flats or sneakers to achieve a laid back or a sporty look too.
